Ending Life Without Parole for Minors?

The Utah House of Representatives recently voted to end life in prison without parole for minors charged with violent crimes. The bill is currently underway with the Senate.

In response, for those who have already been convicted, the Utah parole board will grant reviews for a “very small number” of them, according to officials. So far, nine states have removed life without parole for minors. See the original Salt Lake Tribune article here.
